BOOKING YOUR TRIP
1. How many passengers are allowed on the boat trip?
Our license is regulated by the United States Coast Guard, and we are permitted to take up to six passengers. If you have more than six persons in your party we can do our best to help find another boat to join in the fun. For full day trips we do not exceed four people.
2. Are children allowed on the boat?
Yes! Yes! Yes! We encourage bringing children for the adventure of their season! The US CoastGuard requires children under 12 to be properly fitted with life jackets. If your child has one just check with Captain Damon that it meets the necessary regulations. If not, one will be provided for you!
3. Are Gift Certificates available?
Yes! Please click here to purchase Gift Certificates in increments of $25, $50, $100, $500 & $1000. Use them for deposits toward any tour, or to gift to that special fisherperson in your world by e-mail or snail mail!
PREPARATION FOR THE TRIP
1. Do I need a saltwater fishing license?
No, you are covered by the boats State & Federal Licensing.
2. What happens if it is raining on the day of my trip?
We do go out rain or shine, and weather conditions are in the captains’ discretion. All of our boats have sophisticated safety equipment and state of the art electronics. The decision to cancel a charter will be made at the time of the trip and your deposit will be refunded if need be. You should plan on showing up for your trip, even if you think there is a possibility for cancellation, because there are times when the weather is much different on the water than it is on land. That said, we will cancel a trip for heavy rain, if we do have to cancel your trip due to weather, we will try our best to reschedule.
3. What should I bring for my trip?
Here are some suggestions: sweatshirts, rain gear (if forecasted), sunglasses, hat, camera, food, beverages, and a cooler for your take-home fillets.
4. Can we bring alcohol onboard the boat?
Yes, glass containers are discouraged. If a passenger becomes drunk or rowdy, the captain has the discretion to cancel the trip and immediately return to the dock. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
5. Do I need to bring fishing gear or bait?
No, we provide top notch fishing gear and also provide fresh or live bait. If you have a favorite rod you would like to bring feel free to take it along.
6. How do I dress for the trip?
Weather on the water is different is significantly different than the weather on land. You should dress in layers, and have a waterproof jacket and shoes. A good rule of thumb is to expect the temperature to be 20 degrees cooler than what is forecast for land and to anticipate possibility of rain on any trip.
7. Do I tip the mate or captain?
It is customary to tip the mate 20% for a job well-done. If there is no mate available for your trip, the captain will cover the mates duties (in addition to piloting the boat and finding the fish). In that case, it is appropriate to tip the captain the gratuity that would have gone to the mate.
THE DAY OF YOUR TRIP

Most of the time we leave from Bass River Beach in S Yarmouth, Sesuit Harbor in Dennis or Saquatucket Harbor in Harwich Port, MA.. This will be decided prior to your trip. There will be parking fees.
